Varsity Girls Track & Field

Varsity Girls Track & Field

Any girl who is in high school is eligible to participate in track. Physicals and insurance forms are to be turned in to the office before the season starts. Girls will furnish their own shoes. The uniform, sweat suits, and equipment will be furnished by the school.

Track is a sport designed to develop self-discipline and direct competition with other girls. Participants develop pride in themselves as they increase their skills or improve their performance. The successful track girl is dedicated to improving herself.

Running, jumping, and throwing are skills which many people desire to test. Practice is designed to improve these skills and develop team unity and team work. Conditioning is designed to continually improve skills and performances to allow participants to qualify for the state track meet.
